Individual works have been exhibited in NYC, San Francisco, Boston and the Rhode Island School of Design Art Museum. His video works have been screened at the Rome Fiction Overdose Festival , Mobius in Boston, The Euro Underground Film and Video Festival and broadcast through Unquote TV.

He has been a visiting artist presenting his work at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Studio Art Centers International, Florence, Italy and UCDA, New York, NY.

Charles joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Art at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan in fall of 1996 where he is teaching electronic media arts. During the summer he returns to Italy to make work and teach multimedia at SACI Florence.
